PLACE BETS (The Hughies)

Many people are deluded into believing that a place bet at betfair odds of 1.5 in an 8-runner race is betting at odds on. Sure it would be if the pay out was on ONE horse but with a Place bet the pay out is on the first THREE & simply represents the best way to build betting operating banks & profit returns.
ROLL UP PLACE BET (The Ringmaster)
The Ringmaster is a Roll UP place bet with a target of £100 starting with a bank each time of £30. What I set out to achieve is an initial profit of say £30 whereby the next bet would be £60. However at THIS stage I then withdraw the original £30 stake to provide the ultimate stress free bet as we are then playing with OTHER PEOPLES MONEY - or OPIUM, as I like to term it. Regularly I hit the £100 target using OPIUM and it’s a great feeling AND a most profitable bet.
EACH WAY DOUBLES
Bookmakers hate them and you will never see an offer in a betting shop for Bookmakers to offer enhanced deals for each way doubles. Why is that? Because arithmetically it’s a great bet for the player and now has so many strategic points to ensure the punter has alternatives to reduce liability (by laying off some of the bet via betfair) each time and therefore protecting profits/or reducing losses & protecting initial stakes.
Generally each day I can suggest 3 separate each way doubles - The Double Diamond, The Dunlop & The Ali Baba. All three have different targeted races.
COMBINATION BETS
In addition - if the climate is right I will also produce a bet to encompass the 6 horses from the above three bets. I term this bet the Bernie. Alternatively if I can only find 4 opportunities then I have a bet called the ‘Buzzer’, which includes those 4 selections.
There is ‘overkill’ nowadays in racing with so many races each day so you have to be selective. If I see extra opportunities or if the initial selections are not ’strong’ enough then I will play other tiny Combination Bets.
SPORTS BETS
Sports bets too on Rugby League, Rugby Union, Football, Darts, Golf, Cricket and Tennis.
TRADING BETS
