This time we’re discussing the horse racing trading bets. Even on their own these should generate enough profit to cover your Big Mike Betting member subs! These are revolutionary trades that you can make via Betfair, which include:
The Axminster
This is so-called because it is an In-running blanket/carpet lay that is played with either the Betfair “keep” option or using betting assistant software. There is hardly any downside to the Axminster trades. The aim is to find races where many horses will be matched at a certain level in running.
The Dead Man’s Handle
This resembles the Axminster, however as soon as the 1st horse is matched you are advised to cancel all the other lays in running. We recommend you then place a “back” bet in running for a very small stake to get any upswing in the race. This is a useful tactic as the upswing bet is often taken with the horse still going on to win anyway.
The Mule Train
This is usually a selling race and is a roll up place lay bet where you try to find a very bad race being challenged by plenty of Mule’s. It is made to the same liability on several horses and as long as less than two make the frame you will collect your profit. Also even if just one Mule places (which isn’t very likely) your potential loss is reduced because of having all the other mules on your side.
Other horse racing trading bets used by Big Mike Betting are The Greenhouse, The Nobby and The Prudence, which you can read about on the Bets and Trades page on our website.
