Short and sweet today as few openings in Racing. The Huddersfield v Crusaders bet given out yesterday in the main service is probably the best way to go today.
Betting Banks. In line with my suggestions to all members that they continue with 5% of CUMULATIVE bank for each discipline as a particular target has been reached on the Double Diamond I am increasing stakes in line. As the Dunlop (£65) & Ali Baba (£40) basically are fixed stakes bets as their name implies unless I see a huge difference in betting banks I shall leave as it is. I am also loathe to move things so much after just a few days into the new season but as the DD target has been hit I am following my own guidelines.
So far – according to my Independent compiler we are £2675 (net) up and £1274 (net) relates to the DD so that particular discipline now has a betting bank of £3674. Therefore stakes are increased by 50%. Should profits fall back to under £600 we shall reduce stakes accordingly (Hope the assessor is reading this and will alert me).

The good thing I feel about the figures so far is the fact that of the 47 horses given in the 3 main disciplines – (DD, Dunlop & AB) 22 have WON and 18 have PLACED with only 7 unplaced. So for those who like singles only the suggestion of using the DD only is probably quite sound as the win ratio there is 70% (10:14). Remember this performance will NOT continue at this level. No way can it do so. Therefore its a very sensible time to take stock and reassess. We must cover for the inevitable dark days ahead when I will not be able to buy a winner.
Warrington. Doh! Very simply having charged into an 8 point lead after 10 minutes it looked all over and at least I came on the Forum re the Saints plus 8 as a hedge for our bet. No sooner had I done so the floodgates (literally as the match was played in a continuous downpour) opened and Saints never looked back. The star of the show? Salfords very own Matty Smith who returned to Saints to see out the last 6 weeks of his contract.
Huddersfield v Crusaders this afternoon really is a cracker with the Welsh team taking over 1,000 to the Galpharm. Could be Brian Nobles last game in charge.
Playing a Big Mac in the Footie on the blog this afternoon as the weak link (Man U) play first so a hedge could be used.

If Man U score first at Goodison I would suggest laying them for stake recovery (£13) after markets have recovered after the initial goal. Another hedge would be to bet the draw for a fiver as both Arsenal & Chelsea should do the business later.
