The new Premiership season starts today of course and my lot (Man City) go to White Hart Lane to see off the Spurs – or do they? Not for me they don’t as surely the players haven’t introduced themselves to each other just yet. Its like the United Nations at Middle Eastlands presently with Gareth Barry expected to be the only Englishman in the starting line up today. A wide berth for me for them until we’ve seen them all play together.
My other lot (Salford City Reds) are also spending madly with 6 new players signed up for next season already so they could at last be an interesting proposition next year. This season will see maybe 6 of the current team disappear to Leigh & beyond (France) so they have little to play for this season and the -8 for Hull KR tomorrow looks a really good bet indeed.
Great trading today envisaged in the 20/20 Creekit on Sky. Use the lemming method of course but also I feel the `Lazymans` Trade will go well today at a blanket `1.45` figure & also at 1.25 for both sides in every match. Would be very surprised not to see a good profit.
We were deprived of a really big double in the BMB when Perignon was withdrawn after Electric Waves great win at Newbury @ 10/1. In that Newbury race we saw the shrewdness of Sir Mark Prescott. Connections were backing his horse to win yet were obviously laying the place site on Betfair. Seb therefore had an ew situation for his master and duly finished well out of the money. A similar occurrence later resulted in Barney Curleys horse finishing unplaced. Both excellent `Shyster` bets – so please always check the Chatroom when I see the markets throwing up similar trades.
Sorry to bore you again about Brown Envelopes but the layers have already decimated 3 or 4 frames for me today, so I have had to switch all my bets around. I could do with a compiler who would list the horses/trainers/races on all these Brown envelope events. Any offers out there?
I have one bonus blog football bet for you today, in the match between Manchester City and Spurs.
FOOTBALL BET
a) SPURS V MAN CITY
For me the Blues are far too short in the Lunchtime televised game.
I am laying them and if they score first (within first 60 minutes) will lay another tenner once the price has settled.
Laying £10 @ 3.6 pre match
