The Test Match trade has started well and we greened up last night to a £19 result on all 3 possibilities. I am very wary about Saturdays weather. The next 2 days will therefore be crucial in the outcome to this match and I would advise a safely safely approach if trading.
I Will update on the Forum/Chat Room during the day. Everyone invited. Even our German friend ‘Begi’ who – when I said 300 for 5 (Just announcing the score) wondered which line to bet on. Lets hope we can improve the games interest on the Continent this summer then.
Yesterday again showed how very important it is to have mines placed in running. On top of that the strategy again showed why it is important to go for stake recovery on Simla Sunset after Snow Fairy had won at a resounding (& unexpected) 7/2. Combination bets are played for a purpose and if playing them you must be alert to the opportunities given. Place a post it on your PC entitled ‘Stake Recovery’. Vital.
Old Owl hopefully will be back in business very shortly but not necessarily on the laying side. His system for laying is no longer viable but his betting system is revitalised and going well. His selections will be fairly short but they are expected to be sweet. Its certainly a good idea into looking at playing combination bets and if so it would make sound commercial and financial sense to use the strategy again for stake preservation. He will be posting on the Forum shortly.
Mr. Dettori. Yes I was wrong to use him on a horse to place. I agree with the several members who emailed. Apologies.
Just one ‘Live Blog Bet’ from me today:
An £8 Hughie (A place bet played via Betfair’s place markets on the horse finishing in the places i.e. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
£8 To place on Doggerbank 515 War (Souter Point is steady but quite exposed whereas Doggerbank has just the one run and the penny dropped late on and the extra distance will surely help today. Nice frame)
