Big Mikes Monday Thoughts

Brief message today as I want to be available for members re the Creekit Trade which is boiling up nicely. I hope to be on line in the Chat Room to help anybody with their own positions and I will update trades on the Forum. Exciting day hopefully. Even if you haven’t traded in the match or are new to trading please come on down and have a chat as you will be made most welcome.

Faro. 3/4 Bedrooms left to fill so please email me on mike@bigmikebetting.co.uk as I really feel you will find the 48 hours or so of real benefit to your future betting and more important the profitability.

The Turbos. Two not matched yesterday but 3 out of 4 on the bigger ones hopefully compensating.

Nothing appeals too strongly today for a ‘Live Blog Bet’.

Big Mike’s Blog Bet Result (Sunday)

Well another blog milestone was reached yesterday, when Right Option finished 2nd and became the 20th winning blog bet in just over a month, resulting in me racking up a half century of blog bet profits.

The cumulative profit to advised stakes now stands at £52.14. So just to recap, since I started the ‘Live Blog Bets’ I have advised 21 (Hughie) place bets and during that time we have suffered just one losing bet a £6 hughie, which as the stake size suggested on that day I wasn’t overly confident about anyway and in hindsight should of had a blank no bet day.

However with 20 out of 21 bets having successfully landed and a strike rate of over 95% hopefully many of my blog followers are now beginning to realise that this style of boring and tedious but ultimately consistently profitable and virtually risk free betting is good for their bank balances.

My hughie results achieved over the last 8 years bear testament to the fact that the results from the last 21 live blog bets have been no fluke and I fully expect to deliver a century of blog profits within the next couple of months.

Now many of my full paying members are playing my Hughie place bets to 10x my advised stakes and of course my daily column contains many more Hughie place bets (ranging in strength from £2 up to £12) than you are receiving for free here on the blog and are therefore enjoying a fantastic return on their investment.

So should you like to join us and start enjoying even more Hughie profits from the bets contained in my full service daily column, then you are welcome to join with the added security of my personal 100% money back guarantee that promises – ‘The profits generated from following my Hughie place bets alone will cover the cost of your first months £34.50 subscription, if not then I will refund you your first months subscription in full’ – So you are welcome to try the service at my risk and not yours!

Big Mikes Sunday Thoughts and Live Blog Bet

A few emails from you suggesting that we should do a Big Mike Cruise in the future now that we are so well in with Captains of these Liners. Gem of an idea but I think we could be aiming a little high there so sticking to the Faro format this year.

I have now booked the Hotel and reserved at this stage all of the 10 Bedrooms at the Hotel which you can see via :-http://www.acolinahotel.com/. The Hotel is 10 minutes only from the best beaches in Europe and even in October the weather will still be lovely. The plan is for me to go over some Trading moves, chat with members and wives and answer any problems. It is not a formal event and will be fun and the food at the Hotel is just sublime. Friday October 9th (first member arriving at Faro Airport at 9am) until Sunday October 11th. Just email me if interested as there is room at the moment and I have a back up if we need more than the 10 bedrooms. Friday night there will be a Jazz Night & a Gala Dinner on the Saturday. Flights still very cheap and I will collect you from the airport.

On the Cricket I have changed the position a little in the hope (!) we have enough time to create a position to force a very unlikely victory.

The Turbos again showed their use with the Bolger horse finishing just out of the frame (was backed to 114!) and also – even better – War Artist – was backed down to 1.02 & finished just out of the frame. These boys KNOW what they are doing and all I can repeat is that we are dealing with some absolutely brilliant financial minds out there so you have to take remedial action which I think we have now done. The War continues.

Laying. Forum posts. Currently Dean is having a rest and Old Owl has retired – very graciously – to the back benches as one of his main instruments to assess his lays is not currently available. Should those special Ratings reappear then Old Owl will be back. In the meantime I have looked again at various systems.

About this time of year – given the decent length of stats available – I like to look at the Coral Naps Table in the Racing Post. There are over 50 scribes in the Competition – full time – well paid contributors to Newspapers with all the Avante Garde facilities one would require to make substantial profits for their readers. Of the 52 just 12 are in profit from their BEST bet of the day. Yes their BEST. I had a couple of Trades last year using ‘The Kite’ (Alan Keyte) and also ‘The Cull’ (Mel Cullinan) as both these guys liked to ‘Nap’ fairly short priced horses in the belief that regular wins would keep their readers happy.

This time I am looking at something different. Of the 52 journos 7 are from the Racing Post and of those just 1 is in front this time. I am therefore going to trial a blanket lay system using these ‘tips’ to a liability of £10 a head for the month of August. There will be time of course when my suggestion is amongst their naps – even so – I will be
laying that horse to the £10 liability otherwise the exercise will have no value whatsoever. Its just tough luck if they select one of mine. Looking for a name for these lays so please suggest a title.

The 230 at Market Rasen looked an excellent frame early doors – but guess what? – of course the Brown Envelope Factory working overtime to get three no hopers out of the contest to reduce the field to 7. Micky Hammond has done very well here as he had 2 of the 3.

Its the 143rd day of the Galway Festival – or seems like it – but the Irish who plan so cleverly are still not out of Guinness. The going there will not be Good to Firm.

Just One Live Blog Bet from me today an £8 Hughie (A bet on the horse finishing placed i.e. 1st, 2nd or 3rd and is played via Betfair’s place markets)

£8 place only on Right Option 305 MR (Has been very consistent this term and finally pulled one off at Newton Abbott last time and the penalty doesn’t look over severe in this company.) pitching at 1.48

Price at the end is price to take or if pitching and not taken then bet 5 mins pre race at best. Obviously take care & adjust when drifting substantially or if horses taken out.

Big Mikes Saturday Thoughts

Ahoy shipmates. Well I have to give a greeting like that to our newest member Captain Charlie Carr Master of the good ship Ocean Village One – a huge Cruise Liner – currently moving my Gal Friday Luan and her very fortunate fiance around the Mediterranean. Welcome aboard the Good Ship ‘Big Mike’ Captain – and all who sail with you.

Today Ive been mucked about again with my selections – 2 of the top 4 have been withdrawn from their respective races and with so much rain about no doubt there will be many more NRs. Saturday always tricky at the best of times but with rain in the mix as well……………….

So if Trading I think it a day to take on the favourites via bets like the Greenhouse bet and maybe a stack of big priced winners around the
courses today.

Stewards Cup. Great race to watch and I am playing a Dead Mans Handle Trading bet (see below) but the problem could well be the short distance for Trading hence reduced stake but a bigger price in running to be laid to hopefully nullify the problems expected.

No change in the Cricket trade. Rain there.

All Turbos landed yet again yesterday and its proving to be a revolutionary move. Remember to use the profits from the Hughies for the more expansive bets – always use other peoples money (opium) for these bets.

Little meat on the bone re selections due to time constraints. Its been a busy time for me so apologies in advance and therefore no ‘Live Blog Bet’ from me today,

Mike.
