Attractive Racing today with some top class stuff. I am opposing Kauto ew with one of my favourite horses plus a small Hughie on another. I think we would have had a big pay out but for the fall of Aikman at Musselburgh but again my `preaching` of low mines came off with stake recovery plus for many on the Forum as this one was laid to 1.11. Its a cheap, easy option so do include it on all your bets – not just mine. Incidentally a sharp reminder last night for gambling yards on the Flat – especially favourites – `JUST` finishing out of the placings in 4th.

Anyone looking for a Banking Return of 14% in a day should do OK with AP finishing in the first three with paddypower.com (1/7 there). Surely pretty safe.
On the winner – Maybe a Reversed forecast on McDowell/McCoy may be worth a little flutter though I agree with `tetley` – Lee Westwood a far bigger `personality` – however a Reversed Forecast for me on the 2 Big Macs. (9/4 & 8/1 with Hills).

Sunday, December 12th, 2010Huntingdon is off which is a big disappointment so I have juggled the bets a bit. Corks last two races have been switched to Monday so their meeting ends with the 2.50 race.
We did OK with the selections on Saturday over at Big Mike Betting, on a very tricky day and some of my ‘yards’ performed excellently with McCain again showing how good a trainer he is. Well done Young Ginger and lets hope the spotlight stays away from the Media hacks.
The Rugby bet produced 2 1/2 wins for a glorious return.. If you ever want to show clever dicks that there is a huge difference between betting and gambling then the Rugby bets are the ones to show.
TEVEZTATED. The News of the World says hes OFF. Well – they’ve been wrong before! However my lot (Manchester CITEH) now sit level on top – when I saw them play Wycombe at Maine Road a few years back one could only wish for such days. Onwards and not much more Upwards.

Saturday, December 11th, 2010Another Coffee Morning set of starts. Great card at Cheltenham and one or two possible frames to enjoy both a proper bet and another HQ `Gluesniffer`.
Sports bets – Last nights Rugby bet over at the main service won I am pleased to say and on top of that by using the Chatroom some members have picked up a way to make more from these Handicap bets by betting in running. Last night for instance after early scores Glasgow were offered +15 on the In running Handicap. My advice to all when seeing 5pts and upwards margin in running is to `lock in` the profit by betting a percentage of the main bet ON THE OTHER SIDE with Handicap thus having a GUARANTEED win. Its an excellent ploy and shows many members are on the way to Trading matches the correct way. I will be posting another Rugby bet on the Chatroom and on the Sports thread on the Forum a bit later.
In Racing one always has to find an `edge`. Today we have that and my advice is to use vcbet.com who are opffering Best Odds Guaranteed AND their excellent Freefall offer at Cheltenham. (Stakes refunded if horse FALLS etc) My bets are played via them today.

Friday, December 10th, 2010Brown envelopes? Is this a myth or fact? Whatever it is – they exist and to put things in a monetary example yesterday over at my paid for service we had 4 in a Yankee which gave a 1p profit whereas if 8 had run in the 1.45 the profit would have been £35. So what happens to the £34.99? Two guesses. I will bleat no more but we may consider going down the `Bottler` route. Last year – due to the spate of brown envelopes and Bookies running for cover I played the bets only via Betfair in order to receive the vital 3 spots. There may be days ahead when I will do so.
A nice double yesterday on the blog (I thought prices were generous for once) and not a winner in sight – Strategic Betting in action!
