Big Mike’s Saturday Betting Advice & Cricket/Football Bets

Saturday, January 22nd, 2011

Went to bed last night quite excited in that todays selections looked very promising yet woke up to find both Haydock & Gowran abandoned. Haydock is close to me and the ground where I live is perfectly raceable and that was at 10am and the weather is improving even more. Postponement too soon for me. So back to the drawing board and my Ladbrokes man tells me that even at Ascot the `Magic Sign` (oveh) have warned their shop managers not to take over £20 ew in some of the high profile races. What is it all about? Are these people Bookmakers?

Big Mike’s Wednesday Betting Advice, Full Column & Latest Results +£6496 So Far!

Big Mikes Wednesday Column

Good morning. The recession may still be with us but my independent compiler cheered me no end this morning with the latest result sheets.

Available to everyone as well – just email me on mike@bigmikebetting.co.uk & I will forward them on to you.

Briefly – From 1st September 2010 until 22nd November 2010 we are AHEAD by £6496. Nothing hidden – all losses (without hedging) accounted for as well.

Summary is :-

Double Diamond 2174
Dunlop 1588
Ali Baba 393
Buzzer 33
Hughies 118
Bernie 467
Rambo 115
Ringmaster 6
BMB 612
Singles 81
Combos 909

Total +6496

All disciplines show a profit which I have to be totally honest and say is a FIRST for me over the past decade where EVERY discipline is in profit. Maybe I am still putting to good use the little things picked up each day (I will come to that later) via the Exchanges and gradually producing what could be the blue print for betting in the future. In other words – keep reducing the downside!

Big Mike’s Saturday Betting Advice & Rugby Bets

Saturday, November 6th, 2010

Good morning. Nice 35/1 double in the Rambo yesterday courtesy of Camden in the Fontwell Bumper. Take a look at the race if you get time as I havent seen a head carriage like that for some time so surely must struggle when the bigger obstacles appear but looks a stayer in the making. The McClaren paid off with 3 wins and it remains a crackerjack of a bet as the downside is just so small when comparing with the possible returns.

The battle for the Jockeys Championship ends today but I think it will be all over after the 3rd race at Donny. As ever I have tried to come up with a bet which will give us all a mathematical advantage & I think the way to achieve that today would be to concentrate on the rides of the Big 2 in the 12.15, 12.50 & 1.25 races. Hughes could well close the gap too by half past one so I wouldnt put you off laying Hanagan at 1.25 on Betfair with a bet back at 1.50 for half the stake just in case Hughes wins 2 of the 3.

So I am playing a combo around the 6 horses as if you take BOG I would feel that there are pre race profits to be had as the sheer weight of money being shovelled on the shorties will surely shorten (lol – try & say sheer, shovelled, shorties, surely, shorten with false teeth in) – anyway the profit I feel will be there – dont forget the mines either.

As for the main bets – well nothing too strongly has jumped off the screen for me & it looks a tricky day all round today.

Big Mike’s Sunday Betting Advice & Correct Score Football Bet

Sunday, October 24th, 2010

Good Afternoon. Quiet day for me on the betting front but the TV action is great today with both the Reds & the Blues in action.

In Racing there are two tracks where you could make a lot of money with late mines. Towcester`s uphill finish is always one to have a blanket lay in Handicaps at about 1.52 on Betfair whilst the last two fences at Wincanton are notorious and will probably reward traders with the same low level trades.

Watch out for the brown envelopes in the 8 runner races and as ever use Betfair to thwart the layers please.

Big Mike’s Thursday Betting Advice & Correct Score Football Bet

Thursday, October 21st, 2010

It did’nt finish the best of days for those who DID’NT add on the mines in the Betfair `keep` yesterday.

We had 5 unplaced – one of the five didn’t see anything exciting in running :-

The other four :-

Mutayaser 19:50 Kempton Park 9/4 or 3.25/1.45 (Betfair equivalent price) (matched in running at 1.52/1.16)

Winning Show 14:50 Fontwell Park 10/3 or 4.33/1.66 (matched in running at 1.52/1.16)

Rio Gael 15:05 Ffos Las 9/2 or 5.5/2.1 (matched in running at 2.02/1.18)

Indian Valley 19:20 Kempton Park 7/2 or 4.5/1.9 (matched in running at 1.51/1.03)

Far from making excuses for the 4 being out of the frame I just want to emphasise how important it is to lay mines for stake recovery. The horses I select are in the main chosen so that they will add profits in combination bets – if they are out of the frame then obviously calculations are upset so that is why you should always play defensive manoevres. I truly believe that your overall betting will improve dramatically by implementing these `mine` (lays in running) measures. Use the ploy on all your bets if you like a stressless life.

If I come over as a boring old **** then so be it. Betting Capital is hard to build up in this day and age and its imperative you retain what you have. It really does make sense to protect. Sermon over but please remember what I said was for everyones future prosperity. Get those mines in.

Today on the blog I have a correct score football bet for you, based around tonight’s Europa League match involving Citee.
