It was a clever `touch` by connections as Mr Fretwell is rarely not seen when a winner strikes. He turned up just before the off in a Helicopter this time after the horse drifted on the exchanges and so managed an excellent SP sting. Very clever people. Indeed as Ken pointed out on the Forum Ladbrokes must have `known` all day as their prices were always a couple of points under the other layers and I doubt whether they took a penny on the horse pre race.

Overall just one being unplaced (1.26 in run on the win) wrecked a clear round and a big payout in the Rambo.
One word re the Betfair accumulator. The first horse won at 3/1 so we received the £5 bonus AND in effect there was £100 going on Tax Free in the next. PLEASE always take evasive action (as I stressed in the Chatroom yesterday) and always go for stake retrieval by LAYING the next horse in acca. Work out possible proceeds firstly then hedge.. The horse was short at 6/5 so even a lay of £25 would have protected the bet and given us all a chance of a big win. We have the tools @ Betfair so we should use them.
Betfair going Public and a PE of 21 isnt over exciting is it yet I do love the Company! Maybe they are pitching it high to retrieve personal money only as the Company have so much cash I doubt whether they need outside help to fund.

With Pope Benedict XVI continuing his visit to blighty, I felt compelled today to deliver my very own Big Mike Saturday Morning Mass.
